Nicole Abbott was working as a part-time makeup artist when she became a widowed mother for the second time. It was then that she decided to turn her grief into strength to make her dreams come true.

While grieving the death of her second husband in 2017, Nicole realized that Shiseido had discontinued Shimmering Rouge lipstick in PK415—her favourite lipstick. Abbott started ordering batches of the lipstick on eBay and Amazon, but when she got a bad batch, she knew it was time to make a change. It was her turn to be the boss—and found Hey Babe Cosmetics.
